Ruth Armitage: Between Certainties

A longtime painter at this cooperative gallery, Ruth Armitage uses abstraction in her new work to explore the tension between stability and change. “Life offers only a few certainties: birth, wonder, joy, struggle and death,” says Armitage, adding that the only constant is change.
