Explore how history connects us all at the Washington State History Museum. Engaging events and interactive exhibitions highlight the many stories and cultures of communities across Washington. Recent renovations include the new permanent exhibition This Is Native Land, sharing Native history, culture, and community through contemporary art, multimedia pieces, and perspectives from over 100 contributors representing 60 Tribes. Other galleries explore natural history, migration, and industrialization, alongside the state’s largest model train layout. This year, rotating exhibitions will uncover the era of Alice in Wonderland, the art of deception in World War II, and the prolific work of photographer Asahel Curtis.
