Recycled Art Show

Fogue Studios and Gallery, Seattle, WA - Jul 12 – Aug 24

by Michael Turner

Now in its ninth year, this juried exhibition of PNW artists continues to inspire audiences with what can be done with what others can do without. As with last year’s unprecedented number of submissions (192 works, from which 67 were chosen), this year’s entries, composed of a minimum of 75% recycled material, are equally inventive, equally exuberant. In the words of Seattle Recycled Arts co-founders Debbie Palmer and Michael Arndt: “Creating durable art from items destined for the landfill brings value back to the community.”
