Debra Van Tuinen’s vast ephemeral paintings emanate light from within, awakening a consciousness in both the artist and the viewer. Her work, inspired by encounters with land and seascapes, blurs painting genres and brings together encaustic and Sumi ink with acrylic and oils. Van Tuinen has exhibited and taught internationally for over four decades, finally opening her own gallery in 2020 which doubles as a studio space. Van Tuinen Art also features sculptures by Austen Lyon, Dean Popek, and Erewyn Limric.
