Sep 30-Oct 2 Ming Qian (Henry) Wang: Piece of My Mind. Human nature and surrealism coalesce to form various paintings and objects with the use of vibrant colours and materials. Opening Oct 11 Intricately Woven – Paintings and Installation by Su Xiang. Vancouver-based artist Su Xiang presents her medium-to-large scale monochromatic acrylic paintings and installations, embodying her deep connection with the millennium-old craft of weaving and silk embroidery from her hometown Suzhou. Suzhou is renowned for its traditional painting, calligraphic art, gardens and water canals.
