Located in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square, CORE Gallery is proud to present two solo exhibitions every month. To Apr 29 In Darkness. Painter Amanda Hood creates a sublime emotional landscape heightening the duality between light and dark, and explores the bittersweet in a new series of nocturnes. BOUND: Ann-Marie Stillion investigates the infinite moments of covering, unwrapping or struggling to be free of society’s constraints while challenging the idealized notion of the male hero. Stillion’s new photography works are rendered on silk and aluminum. Opening reception: Apr 6, 5-8 pm.
