Ongoing Converse Subversives: Shona Rae. This Calgary-based artist created a series of sculptures engaging traditional myths, fairy tales, folklore, artifacts, and personal history to explore how past and present societies deal with social inequalities, gender identification, ageism, rape, war, famine, plague and political upheavals.
