Ages: 9-99 years old, kids and adults of all ages and all levels of experience in art. (Participants 13 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult collaborator)

Join local teaching artist Mike Berry for a hands-on workshop learning about the Japanese art of paper folding. Learn the different types of folds and bases to create beautiful animals and objects just from paper.
Mike Berry is an Origami Artist and Origami Teacher. He has been folding and teaching for the better part of 12-15 years. He has taught for Seattle Parks and Rec programs in after school/camp programs, numerous events, Libraries, and for movie studios in conjunction with movie release parties! While teaching classic origami his personal focus in origami is to re-use recycled paper or paper products that are not generally thought of as an origami medium.
