Michelle Leone Huisman: Artist Talk

Join us at Regent College, in the John Richard Allison Library to enjoy an Artist Talk at 11am with local artist, Michelle Leone Huisman. Her exhibition, "An Unexpected Collection" is displayed in the Art in the Stacks series, featuring photographs of wooden spoons broken during the banging of pots for the 7PM cheer for first responders. Michelle will be sharing about the unique way she processes her photographs, using a 19th-century technique called tri-colour gum bichromate over palladium. The technique is reputed to maintain its quality for more than 500 years!
