In conjunction with the Black & Boujee Exhibition (1/13 - 2/20), an artist panel will discuss the illuminating, captivating exploration of Black luxury. The panelists will weave together narratives through their own experiences of resilience, creativity, and unwavering determination that have propelled Black individuals and communities to redefine what it means to indulge in the finest things life has to offer. Through their artistic expressions, these visionaries challenge societal perceptions, breaking down barriers and reclaiming spaces once exclusive to others. Their masterpieces, bold and evocative, capture the essence of Black opulence, unapologetically disrupting traditional norms and fostering a new era of inclusivity and recognition. This artist panel as well as the exhibits focus on Black Luxury is a testament to the power of art as a vehicle for change and a reminder of the resplendent legacy that exists within the Black community.
