Artist Talk

Clint Brown, Barbara Black, Linda Neufer, and Monica Mitchell, will be giving artist talks on their October exhibitions at Blackfish Gallery. The works include, paintings, mixed media work, and installation. In the Gallery's main space, Clint Brown's "Remembering," presents abstraction paired with iconography related to the Pacific Northwest in mixed-media paintings. In the second section of the Gallery, Black and Neufer's show "In and Out of Darkness," displays abstract mixed media work focused on the concepts of dreams, the mysteries of the creative process, and philosophical writings.

And in the third Gallery space, Mitchell's show "Los Caprichos," an installation centered on the question, “...what happens when you combine Goya with Barbie?”.
