Allied Arts of Whatcom County invites you to the opening of our Kaleidoscope of Color exhibit. This show, featuring the works of Melissa Morales-Rush, Taj Williams, Lori VanEtta, and Karen Hanrahan, sweeps the viewer into an exploration of scintillating and varied colors and shapes.

Karen Hanrahan’s photography is narrative and described as organic and intimate.

Lori VanEtta creates acrylic abstract impressionistic paintings that expose the fantastic in familiar and everyday scenes.

Melissa Morales-Rush's work is a range of abstract, fantastical, surreal and impressionist imagery using a combination of mixed media, digital media, traditional painting, and fluid art techniques- including paint pouring and Ebru.

Taj Williams is a master of spray paint, using graffiti style and bright color to make his visually arresting work.

As a special guest for our opening reception on June 3rd, we’ll be graced with the presence of Rachel Carter performing middle eastern dances for your musical pleasure! To learn more about Rachel Carter’s dancing repertoire, visit her Facebook page at:
