TAPEWORM & The Gallery George present:
'8 Frames Show'
A Gallery Inside a Gallery
Thursday, February 8th from 6-9pm

'8 Frames Show' is an 8 artist show that involved TAPEWORM corp inviting 8 of their favourite Emerging Artists to make a custom work for a custom frame of 4 x 4 inches or 4 x 6 inches to fit in a frame made from recycled bike frames. It's a frame made from frames, in a gallery inside of a gallery.

A meta gallery experience disguising the trojan horse of Talented Emerging Artists being show for the first time in 2 galleries at the same time.

HOST HOUSE is a 4 x 8 foot Portable Tiny Home that was designed to be the solution to the affordable housing crisis. Perfect for young professionals that wan to invest in the housing market bur aren't previous home owners or multi millionaires. It is also portable, perfect for millennials that don't want to be tied down. Finally the recycled Rezoning / Development Applications signs means its a Net Zero Residence making it sustainable for the environment as well as your pocket. To get the market more familiar with this new way of living, we have been employing it for more use cases than just residential, like office, community center and now retail as an art gallery.

TAPEWORM corp is a multidisciplinary corporation that focuses on bringing attention to different issues by designing objects that are functional, but largely point to an underlying issue. This is commonly done by using materials that are scavenged from the intestinal tract of society, where we reside. For We Are TAPEWORM. These materials are used to further implicate. our narrative, while also being pragmatically useful in the new form for which they're employed.
