The Art of Hide Tanning
The Art of Hide Tanning features new works by artists Amy Malbeuf and Ruby Sweetman (St Lina and Lac la Biche, AB) created through the traditional thirteen-step Woodland Cree hide tanning process. This exhibition is organized by Portage College, a unique educator in Canada of this skill, and it is funded by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts as part of its 25th Anniversary Commemorative Art Projects.
Artists will be in attendance.
